A disturbing incident has shaken the Sugarbush community, eMaxesibeni, leaving a mother outraged and seeking justice. Abongile Nkuna, a concerned parent, has come forward to share the harrowing experience of her 9-year-old son, who was brutally slapped by an older man for allegedly shouting his name.

According to Abongile, the incident occurred when her son, who was playing with the older man, addressed him by his name. The man, taking offense to being shouted at, responded with physical violence, slapping the young boy multiple times.

Abongile expressed her outrage and disappointment at the manner in which the situation was handled.

“I understand that my child may have been wrong to shout the elderly man, but that does not justify the use of physical violence as a means of discipline,” she said.
