FLAGSTAFF – Inkonjane Community Radio’s veteran presenter, Simphiwe “Simpra” Nontamo, has been recognized for his exceptional work in sports broadcasting, earning a nomination in the Sports Show category at the prestigious Telkom Radio Awards.
Simpra’s weekend sports show, Sizigcoyisa Emabaleni, airing from 15h00 to 18h00, on weekends, has captivated listeners with its engaging content, expert analysis, and passionate delivery. This nomination is a testament to his dedication and expertise in sports radio.
With a storied career spanning years, Simpra has become a household name in the Eastern Cape, particularly in his role as a former breakfast show presenter and programs manager at Inkonjane Community Radio. His experience and charisma have endeared him to audiences, making him a legend in the local radio landscape.
