EMPOWERING YOUTH FOR A GREENER FUTURE: MISS EMBO

The Miss Embo 2024 pageant has taken center stage, showcasing a talented group of young women dedicated to environmental conservation and community service. This year’s theme, “Nature Plus the People,” has inspired finalists aged 7-25 to demonstrate exceptional passion and initiative in protecting the environment and promoting sustainability.

The contestants have implemented innovative projects, including community clean-up drives, tree-planting initiatives, environmental education programs, and promoting eco-friendly practices. These initiatives exemplify the pageant’s mission to empower young women as environmental leaders and role models.

Beyond environmental conservation, Miss Embo 2024 participants engage in various campaigns and activities, such as:

  • Love Life drugs awareness campaigns
  • Woman-to-Woman girls’ talks
  • Sanitary and Toiletries drive campaigns

For the first time, the pageant introduces the Social Market Edition, featuring local vendors showcasing unique, handmade products, including:

  • Fashion
  • Beauty stalls
  • Sculptures

This innovative approach combines commercial marketing with social concepts, providing a platform for local craftsmanship.

The grand finale will take place on September 28, 2024, at the Sicelo Bhani Community Hall, where the winner will be crowned Miss Embo 2024. Join the celebration of these remarkable young women and their commitment to creating a better future for our planet.
