SABC NEWS ANCHOR BOWS OUT

SABC news anchor, Noxolo Mtshali bows out after 15 years of service. Mtshali shocked many when she announced that she is leaving the television station after a long time. She joined SABC in 2009 as  kids news presenter, later joined the weather desk and she started presenting news. In 2023 she presented a show called Ekhaya Jikelele.  Announcing the departure on her Facebook page, she reflected on the journey and expressed her feelings.

“Unfortunately everything comes to an end. I am heartbroken to announce that 27 March was my last bulletin at the SABC Zulu desk” she said.

She added that there is nothing she enjoyed like reading isiZulu news and uplifting the language.

Mtshali’s followers commented that there must be something fishy at SABC, citing that there should be a proper way to say goodbyes, unlike in Mtshali’s situation where they felt like they were ambushed by her departure.

Mtshali thanked her viewers, for unwavering support.
