SHOCK AS MHLANGA SECONDARY SCHOOL EDUCATOR TRAGICALLY DIES

Mhlanga residents in Flagstaff are in shock after the passing of Oyama Gxabhu who has been murdered at his home. Gxabhu, who was an educator at Mhlanga Secondary school, has been killed a man who is alleged to be a burglar. It is alleged that Gxabhu went to school to prepare for grade 12 school programs, with his friend and colleague. It has been reported that after the preparations they both went out for drinks and when he comes back he found a man inside his room and they fought and Gxabhu was stabbed to death. Family members were shocked after the incident and according to Oyama’s sister, Esihle Gxabhu, they are heartbroken and do not believe what happened.

“This incident just cut my brother’s life short and we are so devastated right now, we do not know when our hearts will be healed” Esihle said.

She said the deceased mother had to be admitted to hospital because of high blood pressure, due to the shock.

“My brother was a breadwinner at home since our mother is not working and now that he is gone it is going to be a difficult situation for us and mostly for his young kids” she added.

Police have not been found to comment on this matter at the time of report. However, the family has reported the matter to the police.
